{"id":17,"date":"2023-10-03T11:38:26","date_gmt":"2023-10-03T11:38:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.candi-project.eu\/?page_id=17"},"modified":"2025-01-17T12:38:15","modified_gmt":"2025-01-17T12:38:15","slug":"news","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.candi-project.eu\/?page_id=17","title":{"rendered":"News"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Third Consortium Meeting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>January 13, 2025<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On <strong>January 13 and 14, 2025<\/strong>, the project consortium gathered for its <strong>third in-person meeting<\/strong> at the <strong>Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)<\/strong> premises in Belval, Luxembourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two-day event provided an excellent opportunity to <strong>review the current status of the project\u2019s research activities<\/strong> and engage in constructive discussions to <strong>plan the next steps<\/strong>. Consortium members collaboratively evaluated progress, addressed key challenges, and outlined strategic priorities for the months ahead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A major focus of the meeting was on <strong>disseminating the research results<\/strong>. MedComNet is a forum for the presentation of new research results in the field of wired and wireless communications and computer networks. We are pleased to announce that CANDI team members not only participated in the conference, but also played a key role in the organisation of the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In particular, J\u00e9r\u00f4me H\u00e4rri was the General Chair of this year&#8217;s edition of MedComNet, while Ion Turcanu was TPC Co-Chair. The conference is the primary venue for experts interested in cooperative and autonomous driving, as well as vehicular communications in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the CANDI participants were Ion Turcanu and Saleh Nikooroo, who presented a poster entitled &#8220;<strong>Evaluating the Potential of Mode 2(b) Resource Allocation in NR V2X Sidelink<\/strong>&#8220;, which highlights the most recent results of the CANDI project. The first day focused on reviewing the main activities in each work package and planning the next steps. The second day focused more on practical and implementation aspects. In particular, two PhD students from EURECOM organized an NS3 workshop on 5G NR V2X simulation.
